May 07, 2015 · Implementing OpenDNS was really easy. Their onboarding experience was very straightforward. Previously we had been using Google DNS and noticed slowness at times. Over the years I have felt less interested in using Google services, so moving to different DNS was a nice win.
Using Tor with OpenDNS. Just found out that my employer is using OpenDNS. I don't do anything bad, but still feel weird about someone having access to everything I do. It also blocks random sites (even news links and things like that). Using OpenVPN and OpenDNS with PiHole I've seen a few posts about this and tried all recommended configs but can't seem to get this to work. I have a raspberry pi 4 running PiHole, which is set to use OpenDNS as it's upstream resolver. About the author: Even though I was using OpenDNS, it was dead simple to get around. All anyone needed to do was to reconfigure their DNS settings on their computer, and OpenDNS was rendered moot.
